YETU Microfinance PLC set to float shares on stock exchange

YETU Microfinance PLC which has taken over the microfinance business of Youth Self Employment Foundation (YOSEFO) is in the final stages of floating its shares on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE). The company has taken the advantage of the Enterprise Growth Market (EGM) window of DSE. The move will position the Microfinance to be the only one to be listed in the DSE. The move is in line with desire of YOSEFO to transform its microfinance businesses into deposit taking financial institution to be licensed by bank of Tanzania. The move also aims at creating an opportunity to have a stake a microfinance bank that is owned and managed by Tanzanians.  YETU Microfinance PLC believes that the backbone of the company is Tanzanian Micro entrepreneurs located in urban and rural areas.
